Test results from the November 2013 test are in and WOW are we excited!

Connect Abaana focuses on Primary schools in Uganda.  The US equivalents are grades K – 7.  P1 means primary one and P7 means primary seven. After P7, a student must take the “Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), a national test in order to get into Secondary school. The test includes four subjects, english, mathematics, science and social studies. It is given each November and the grades are returned to the school in February of the next year.  The highest grade is “Level 1”.  If the student receives a level 1 or level 2, he or she is assured a place in a secondary school.  Level 3 is passing and a secondary position may be available.  Level 4 is a failure.

Nyakasanga - 26 of 27 Primary 7 students received Level 1 grades and one received a level 2.    We are thrilled to report that our own Nyakasanga was ranked 25th of all primary schools in the country!

PLE Information and Test Result are in the below spreadsheet.  One of our schools has not started the P7 level yet.
